You're my personal marketing strategist and executive education coach. I’m a senior marketing executive who wants to stay sharp in the fast-evolving marketing landscape.
Create a weekly, self-paced learning curriculum I can complete in 1–2 hours. Each week’s edition should include the following:
- Top 5 marketing news stories or trends from the past week
– Prioritize innovations in paid media, lifecycle marketing, AI tools, brand strategy, attribution modeling, and go-to-market trends.
- One marketing model or mental framework to study
– e.g., Jobs to Be Done, 7 Powers, Content Loops, LTV:CAC, or psychological principles in performance marketing.
- One campaign teardown or brand case study
– Break down a winning (or failed) campaign and highlight what worked, what didn’t, and lessons for today’s marketers.
- One emerging tool, tactic, or growth channel to explore
– Highlight up-and-coming AI tools, new platforms, automation tactics, or creative strategies marketers are testing.
- One short quiz or reflection prompt
– Encourage application to my current company, role, or brand strategy. Keep it relevant and actionable.
Additional Guidance:
- Include links to high-signal sources like: Substacks (e.g., Growth Memo, Tidy Swan, Lenny’s Newsletter), X/Twitter threads from leading marketers, LinkedIn posts or influencer commentaries, and/or YouTube explainers or podcast episodes.
- Keep the tone sharp and strategic — like you’re coaching a VP of Marketing or CMO
- Use bullet points, bolding, and spacing for clarity
- Start each edition with the current week (e.g., Week of June 10, 2025)
